Letter Meme
Because all the cool kids are doing it...

The letter "W" was given to me by dizzojay. Thanks, hon!

Something I hate:
Work. Seriously, I'm holding out for some rich man to sweep me off my feet and fulfill all my dreams. I'd never have to lift a finger again! Let someone else fill the dishwasher and sort the laundry! Heh.

Something I love:
Watermelon. Walnuts. Watership Down. The Walking Dead.

Somewhere I've been:
Washington, DC. I lived in the suburbs for 11 years before moving back to my hometown in Kentucky. Some days I miss it a lot, but most days I'm glad I moved back home.

Somewhere I'd like to go:
Washington (state). Bellevue, to be specific. I've been there once, for a business meeting. I have family out there, a great aunt and a great uncle, both from my Mom's side of the family. Last time I visited, they went all out. Gathered together all the Seattle family in one place (there's a lot! I think they single-handedly repopulated the state! Lol). What a blast! In addition to visiting with family I haven't seen in years, I love the country. It's a beautiful area.

Someone I know:
Practically my entire family has a last name starting with W. Also, my dear friend womanofletters, and my new friend wings128.

A film I liked:
Willow

Yell in my general direction if you want a letter. :D

Current Mood: sleepy - I should be in bed instead of waiting up for the snow to start falling

*waves* hello :D

I'd love to live in Kentucky, no really, it always seems so ladi back and chilled out :D

*jumps up and down* Hi! :D

I don't blame you. There's a lot to love about Kentucky. Yeah, we're pretty easy-going for the most part. In fact, it took me a while to adjust when I first moved back. How about where you live? Nice area?

Watership Down is something I like to read about once a year. Love that book!

It's very isolated, it's the ass end of nowhere and that's the way I like it, so quiet and very peaceful :)

Sounds wonderful! We've also chosen to live away from civilization. We've rented a house in the middle of a farmer's fields. In the summer, we're surrounded by corn, wheat, or soybeans, and can't even see neighbors most of the time. It's awesome! (except for the mice, spiders, and snakes... I could do without them! lol)

We have all those here, except the snakes, unless you count adders and grass snakes (most people don't) but we have rats the size of small cats O_O

Watermelon and walnuts! You're talking my language.

I liked Willow too -- fun film.

Such a pleasure to have a mention in your journal. *Hugs* I'm just waiting for the wind to die down. It is so windy that there were no car services running last night. Not one!

So I'm yelling in your general direction. Please send me a letter!

Hi, Stranger! *hugs you tight*

Speaking of talking, I miss our late night chats on IM! And how are you doing these days? Recovered?

Willow rocks. "You're my sun, my moon, my starlit sky. Without you, I dwell in darkness."
Oh, and... "I don't love her! She kicked me in the face! I hate her! Don't I?"
Ah, what's not to love!

Wow! I'd thought New Yorkers didn't stop for anything! That must be some wind!

Heehee. You're a Woman of Letters and you're asking me for a letter. That's funny. LOL

I give you... ready?....

Amen on the WORK! I have been looking for my rich man all my life. somehow, I don't think he exists. ;(

But then, there is other work that I am not a fan of, and that is cleaning or paying bills, or other such sundry tasks.

Washington State is a beautiful place, second only to Oregon.

I loved the movie Willow. That is the place I first fell into like with Val Kilmer. Yum!

Well, I'm not sure I want a letter, but hit me with one. I'll try to get to it.
Wynefredwynefred on May 25th, 2015 05:53 pm (UTC)
I'm embarrassingly late responding to this. Do you still want a letter? I'm going to assume you don't unless you yell back.

All the rich men I've ever met are already married or get married after meeting me. To someone else. Someone not me. *sigh*

I've never been to Oregon, but I can imagine it's a lovely place. I bet you're happy with it! :D

Val Kilmer. Mmmmm.
